Hand winches
Using a manual winch means that the process of lifting or pulling a load relies on manual effort applied to a handle (or wheel) located on the side or front of the winch. Once operated, the handle winds the cable onto and off the drum, thereby enabling loads to be lifted, pulled or moved. Simple to use, reliable and also less expensive – both to purchase and to maintain – than motorised winches, hand winches are used in a variety of fields and environments: building and construction (lifting materials, installing structures, etc.), agriculture (occasional movement of equipment, etc.), marine (manoeuvring boats, lifting loads on board, etc.)…
Hand spurgear winches TIREX
These compact hand spurgear winches benefiting from the qualities of composite materials and aluminium, mostly their anti-corrosion properties. Comply with Machines Directive 2006Conformes à la Directive/42/EC. Developped and manufactured with standard NF EN 13157, they are used for lifting and pulling operations.
Hand winches MANIBOX GR and VS
These hand spurgear (MANIBOX GR) or wormgear (MANIBOX VS) winches are used for lifting or moving loads horizontally. They comply with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and are designed in accordance with standard NF 13157. Two versions are available to meet all requirements: models with a painted frame or a stainless steel frame. Manual winches with stainless steel frames are an ideal choice for applications in harsh environments (damp, salty: anchor lifting, boat manoeuvring, coastal construction sites, sewage treatment plants, etc.), the food processing or pharmaceutical industries (handling in areas requiring special hygiene standards), etc.
Wall winches MANISTOR and WA
These manual winches are designed for wall-mounted use and are intended solely for occasional load-lifting operations. They are fixed directly to a wall, a post or a vertical structure, thereby optimising floor space. They are used for lifting small items (sets, banners, signs, etc.) in sports halls or theatres, as well as in industry, where their reliability and compact design are highly valued. Compliant with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and designed in accordance with standard NF 13157.
Self-braked winches 631.AFL and pulling winches 631.N
Self-braked winches (631.AFL) are used for lifting operations and horizontal displacement operation of loads. Comply with Machines Directive 2006/42/EC. Comply with standard NF 13157. Pulling winches (631.N) are used ONLY for horizontal displacement operation of loads.
Pulling only winches THB and 659
These manual winches are designed exclusively for pulling and hauling heavy loads. Their robust construction with a steel frame makes this equipment indispensable in the maritime and inland waterway sectors: mooring, securing (maintaining the stability of barges during loading/unloading of cargo, etc.), towing (other vessels, navigation assistance, etc.), horizontal movement of heavy loads on board ships, barges, and boats... . or on quays. Thanks to their design, these winches also allow for a variety of applications, such as pulling railway wagons or operations requiring long lengths of cable (e.g. hauling over long distances, etc.).
