Two MOTORBOX-type electric winches onboard the PUXI mobile lab!

The event took place at the Collège Françoise DOLTO in Marly-la-Ville (France). As 6 school classes the day before, we were able to visit the semi-trailer with the help of Yves MIOLANE, UAM Demonstrator and Driver (Destination plasturgie). To watch the video: click here.

For just over twenty years now, with around 200 trips a year, the PUXI lab’mobile has been visiting schools, colleges and trade fairs, as well as companies at their open days.

Installed since 2011 as a replacement for manual winches on a crane next to each injection moulding machine (hybrid type 35 tons and electric 50 tons), MOTORBOX winches (force: 300 kg, speed: 6m/min) are used to lift and move down the injection mould plates used to make small plastic objects (such as cars, etc) that are then offered to visitors.

An extrusion line, a shredder, a temperature controller and a Raise 3D printer are also on board, providing training for future professionals in this particular sector.
